Not just expensive metal!

Good day.

It is with a heavy heart that I contact you today.

1 February I handed in my fossil watch for repairs at Sterns in Tyger Valley. I needed the glass replaced and the strap replaced.

4 weeks later I started phoning the store to track progress. All we heard was"We are awaiting parts from Germany" I waited unable to do more. I followed up weekly but same story.

Yesterday (10 weeks since handing watch in) I was phoned and informed the watch is ready for collection.

To my surprise the strap was not replaced...only repaired. The glass however was replaced like requested.

Now...my biggest issue. I have had this watch for 2 years and love this piece of jewellery to death. My Girlfriend(then) Fiance (now) Wife(in two months) Had it ingraved with words her mother said to her who has since past away.

As you would imagine I LOVE my watch. I wanted to wear it to our wedding in two months. Now it wont matter, because your workshop decided to throw away my backing plate with the engraved message on it.

Now I have a watch witch isnt repaired the way I wanted . Worst off all.. the part witch had the most sentimental value to me IS GONE!

What am I to do. Carelessness caused the words of my Fiance's departed mother on my watch to be lost..

What Now?
