Is this only coincidence

So I recently started working and decided to buy myself a decent watch... I bought a Fossil which I had warn for roughly two weeks when i noticed the watch was falling back about 5 minutes a day... Paying thousands for a watch I thouht i'd have it checked out by a Fossil dealer. On arrival they firstly told me it might be the battery, whereafter the person who changes the batteries came back to me telling she cant get the back of my brand new watch open and also explained that the problem is not with the battery.. My watch now has to be sent to cape town which will ake approximately 8 weeks... ridiculously long if I might add! Comparing this to a cheap watch ive had for about 2years stil ticking away keeping perfect time i dont know how to explain my disgustment with the service and quality i received from Fossil
