Horrible service and insulted

I went into the Fossil store in Pavilion on the 15th of December. I chose a handbag and purse. I gave it to a staff member. She took out a calculator and confirmed the price would be R1050 for both items. I asked her to keep the items and would come pay for them the following day.

I came back the following day to pay for the items. The lady, Nosipho, that helped me was on lunch. Another lady assisted me. She took the bag and purse from the back. Calculated the total and told me the items were now approximately R2700. With great shock I told her the price I had been quoted less than 10 hours ago. She then spoke to a colleague, re calculated and told me the price is now R2440.

I then asked to speak to the manager who then called Nosipho who was on lunch. Nosipho came back. Nosipho confirmed that I was telling the truth and she had quoted me R1050. She confirmed in front of her manager, Annie.

Annie then advised me she had to call the "DM" to get authorisation. She took the phone and went to the back when she came back she told me I now had to pay the new price.

I demanded to speak to whoever this DM was. She didn't explain to me what a DM is but I assumed it was someone with more authority.

Annie then told me the DM is driving and the DM will only be available after 16 minutes. She made us stand this whole time. Didn't even offer us seating.

The DM could not assist me. She said I must pay the price on the system. In the mean time Annie had already asked me to leave the store. She said I was causing a scene and called me ridiculous on 3 separate occasions in a store filled with customers.

She then refused to speak to me and called security for me.

I explained to the security what had taken place and the security took us to center management of Pavilion where I have now left my details.

I'm disgusted that this is the service you receive at a Fossil store.
