Fossil Bad Practices

I took my watch to the Fossil Menlyn store for repairs. I went to collect after they told me it was ready. The guy there made me sign a book as he was looking for the watch. When he brought it he said I needed to pay R1100 for it. I refused since this amount was never communicated to me. When I was ready to go pay for it, he said I took the watch and that I paid by card on the day he made me sign for it. The watch is now nowhere to be found and the manager is unable to help me since Head Office has declined her request to get footage for the day in question. Does this now mean I have lost a watch due to this guy's fault? It is unacceptable!!!!!!
