Bogus warranty and repair policy

I received a Fossil watch as a wedding gift - within 6 months one of the side buttons broke of due to poor craftsmanship.

What do you know - their warranty does not cover poor craftsmanship. So if you buy a watch and one day later some external breaks, Fossil will not replace it because it is not a problem with the internals.

It's been about a year since receiving the watch - utterly disappointed in their "warranty"
