Knight Knox/Fortis UK-BEWARE

The system forces you to give a rating of at least 1 star otherwise my rating is negative.A caution to investors doing business with Knight Knox and Fortis Developers in the UK..I showed interest online in wanting to invest in the UK and next minute I was bombarded with 3calls a day from Knight Knox.Im in SA.Eventually I agreed to invest in a development in Liverpool with them.Signed and paid a deposit in Sept 2016.Completion date was 2nd quarter 2017. Two and a half years later and the development is still incomplete.Long stop date was 31 Dec 2018 according to the contract drawn up by their solicitor.Asked for a refund and now being totally ignored.Knight Knox say I must get my funds back from Fortis,the developer.But can only be done through their solicitor who is totally ignoring the matter.So as matters stand my funds tied up,being ignored and now only way out is to incur further costs to recover my funds.Guys please watch out,this is well orchestrated and executed.They will take your money,tie you up in lengthy contracts and eventually even renege on that.Wonder if others have had the same/similar experience.
