Forklift Brands: Wrong Forklift Delivered and then the threats started.

<p>We recently had business dealings with a Mr Richard De Jongh from Forklift Brands where we agreed to purchase a secondhand forklift from his company based on an agreement that they would provide us with a loan forklift FREE OF CHARGE while his company was making some minor repairs to the forklift we were purchasing. Part of the agreement was that we paid a deposit of SAR 25,000.00</p> <p>The loaned forklift was removed after 5 days as the forklift we were purchasing was apparently ready for delivery the next day, this was the first of the many lies that we were then told about the delivery, but finally the forklift we were purchaing finally arrive 4 days later, on for it to be the incorrect forklift.</p> <p>We informe Mr De Jongh that the forklift was not what we ordered and that we dont want it, but then Mr De Jongh advised that he has made a mistake but he will resolve it as he has another forklift he can replace it with.</p> <p>10 days later Mr De Jongh them emailed my company some pictures of a totally different forklift that he now wanted to sell us, and again it did not meet the requirements we needed it for.</p> <p>We then took a business desicion to cancel our order as Mr De Jongh was unable to provide us with what we had ordered and was just messing us about.</p> <p>We informed Mr De Jongh that we wanted our deposit back, and we were prepared to make a contribution towards the use we had had from the loan forklift, but we were not going to pay the delivery and collections fees of SAR 3600.00 as he was the one who was messing us about, and we advised him that we will hold the forklift we currently have, until he refunds us our deposit.</p> <p>Mr De Jongh has only repaid us a certain amount of what he owes us, and since then he has informed us that he is actualt not the owner of the forklift he delivered to us, and we are now receiving threatning calls from a Mr Brett Eke from Forklift Pro Handlers telling us we have to give him back the forklift.</p> <p> </p> <p>I urge you not to deal with either of these forklift companies, as they do not conduct their business with any ethics. I have since established that Mr Richard De Jongh is just a broker and does not have his own business premises, and cannot provide any support for the forklifts he sells.</p> <p> </p> <p>Be warned, you would be doing business with these companies at your own peril.</p>
