Unauthorised/******** Forget Debt Consultants

I received a call this morning from David Malgas from FD Consultants. After some searching, I found out that they are registered as Forget Debt. He and his senior manager (Delisha Adams) claimed to be calling on behalf of the National Credit Regulator. Amazingly they had my ID no and knew which bank I bank with and my loan facilites (bond). They both mentioned that I am being overcharged by the bank for my bond and the NCR has requested that they contact me to address this overcharge matter. They wanted my bank details, my income, my employer, etc. I refused to provide this info. They said that they have my bank statements, my accounts, etc and will send to me once I provide them with the requested info. I refused again. After the call, I get a SMS stating that I have given Forget Debt my consent to obtain my credit information. This consent was never given. Why send this sms when they claim to already have my bank statements etc. How did they get all me personal info? Protection of Personal information Act I would question. What authority does the Credit Regulator have to share any persons personal info with third parties (as they claim). On what basis is my bank authorised to share my personal info with the NCR. This is my mission...to report Forget Debt to all the relevant Regulatory Authorities and my Bank
