Snake skin found in bedroom

Absolutely disgusted with the service received at Badplaas forever resorts. Upon our arrival on Friday 27th Aug 2021, we were excited as this was our first family holiday since the arrival of our 4 month old baby. To our surprise, we were greeted with SNAKE SKIN in the main bedroom, YES, snake skin!! We spotted it in between the logs in the ceiling and was terrified and reported it to reception immediately afraid that the snake that shredded that skin was still in the room. We were told that someone will come have a look shortly. NO One came. We assumed because it was late on Friday they would come Saturday morning, and again no one came. We reported it again and again no one came to inspect the room. For literally 2 nights we did not sleep afraid that the snake was still in the Chalet and the safety of our baby. We were so disappointed as we were super excited to visit Badplaas and enjoy the small holiday from the busy Johannesburg. How can you not take your guests safety seriously?? I understand that it was just snake skin but surely the room should be cleaned and inspected?! Really poor service and hospitality. Reservation number: BP R322178
