Gariep - A Forever Resorts
It’s only day 1 and I’m here with my family to enjoy some family time but I was taken aback by the subtle ****** here - which is very sad.
I mean this is South Africa and English is the common language used as a medium of communication. It’d be nice to hear what the person at the swimming area is announcing. How do you guys also expect tourists to understand if you’re constantly communicating in Afrikaans? My nieces and nephews weren’t able to participate in the fun kiddies competitions because the guy couldn’t care less to translate to English.
We’ve been to and enjoyed four Forever Resorts already and we expected the same experience here. Its just a bit disappointing. Imagine going to an Establishment and the dj (or whatever he is) is constantly speaking in Zulu?
Definitely not coming back here.
Side note: I have no problem with the language, just frustrating to be at a place where you feel like you don’t belong especially in SOUTH AFRICA👎🏾
