WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

I bought a new Ford Eco sport Titanium in July 2015 and was delivered to my house precisely in November 2015. One day when I woke up, the car wouldn’t start. That was before the car was 6 months old, we kick started it and took it to the dealership the following day where we were advised that it had battery issues. The dealership sorted it out. 6 Months after, I remember the car was sitting on 15 000 Kilometers, the car had been smoking from the exhaust for like a day or 2 and the tool spanner showed up to indicate that something was wrong, we took it in to Ford again and they did whatever they did to fix it.

I was rather shocked on Tuesday the 04th of April 2017 when the car would just not change gears. We called Ford and they towed the car to the dealership in Kempton park. Later on when my husband followed up, he was told that it was the driver’s fault that the clutch is burnt . That was before any tests were run on the car. We were told that they would check it properly and then advise what the problem is. When we followed up again, we were told that FORD manufacture confirmed that the clutch was burnt due to the driver abuse and they won’t be fixing it since the clutch is not part of warranty. We there fore need to pay R 8 000.00 for the new clutch kit.

The car is currently sitting on 25 000 Km’s . I drove VW polo vivo for 4 full years and it never gave me any clutch issues. Is FORD saying their Eco sport clutch is weaker than a car half its price???. Did i just change my driving now after i have been driving manual cars for the past 6 years?. I have driven 2 cars before i bought this ford.

I bought FORD because I was upgrading and saw more comfort in the Eco sport. Never did I think I would go through such a horrible experience.

It is terrifying enough that the Eco Sport is one of the exploding cars, the least they can do is acknowledge that some of their cars have defects and own up to it than frustrating their customers more than already have. You have cheated me by selling me a car full of faults and now you want me to pay for using weak parts!

I agree that the warranty does not cover clutch issues, but the car is is just over a year old and looking at the history of the so called new car, it is rather shocking that i have faced so much inconvinience. i am convinced that this car is a s**** and something else is going to break within another 6 months. I can’t be having clutch issues on a car that was only serviced once in its life time. A car which was only driven for 25 000 Km’s , clearly there is a problem with this car. This is not my first car and I am not a new driver!. I have driven 2 cars before this ford, Opel and VW!.

If I could, I would dump their s**** car with them as it is giving me troubles all the time!

Please fix my car or buy it back so that I can go back to VW who makes strong and reliable cars.

Your stinking service will never see my back at FORD ever!
