Warranty Woes

<p>My son had his Figo (under 60 000 km) at Varsity , and was late with a service (despite km s being under interval requirement) . The gearbox packed up a few weeks back , when my daughter tried to engage reverse , and now Ford South Africa will only carry 50 % of the warranty , despite Imperial Ford Dieprivers pleading with them . Please explain how a late service affects a gearbox (which wouldnt have been touched at that service anyway) . Given our previous happiness with the Figo , my wife bought a new Automatic Ecosport .... and the clutch is already needing replacement ............. what are we supposed to tell people (8 so far) when they ask if we're happy with our Fords ?</p>
