Warranty start and end date
My wonderfu Ford Ecosport is due for it last service under the Fourth Annual Service. I read the book and it stated that services have to be within a month or two of the indicated month to take your vehicle for a service. I duely make an arrangement for the service with a Ford dealership, I always take my car there. The dealer calls and tells me that my four year service has lapsed... Some facts; Firstly the delivery note was emailed to me after hours on the 21st of November 2013, I was not able to action the note until the morning of the 22nd November 2013. Secondly the release note was only action-ed at 12:58pm on the 22nd of November 2013. Thirdly my contract with Ford and collection is signed on the 22nd of November 2013 Fourthly the service book that is in the vehicle indicates that 1-2 months either-side of the month the service is due. Fith, the dealer indicated, they were full and could not take my vehicle for a service earlier than the 22nd of November 2017. Sixth is that I was not advised by FORD that my last service date is/was 21st of November 2017. Surely FORD would have this kind of customer service communication, as such an important date approaches.
Fords ( Noleen Yenkiah) reply was that they go on the warranty start date and not the release date. No customer service from Ford and no action on my notes. No plan and no recognition for Fords faults.
