Warning to future buyers using Ford and Ford Credit

Having reached the end of my 72 month repayment plan on my Ford Eco Sport, according to the agreement, was supposed to end on 01 May 2021, or so I thought. I noticed that I was still having my account debited every month for the installment amount, so I inquired about it. Turns out, there's a R77970 outstanding as this is the residual amount AFTER the 72 month agreement, so my car is NOT paid off as I was lead to believe, and still have an ADDITIONAL 18 months to pay off the balance. This is a disgustingly dishonest hidden clause placed in the agreement and is deplorably misleading to the purchaser. So when getting a car through Ford Credit, it ISN'T a 72 month repayment plan, it's actually a 93 month payment plan. DON'T be fooled. They're so quick to make the sale, sign here, sign here, sign here, and don't actually explain anything. Shame on you Ford and Ford Credit for your dishonest and misleading agreements.
