Vehicle Abuse

<p>I took my Ford Kuga for repairs to Ford Hatfield. My vehicle was sent to a subcontractor to have the bumper fixed. I waited quite long for my vehicle and decided to see where my vehicle is, using the internet to access the Ctrack device installed. From the records I could see that my car was used to travel home every night, for shopping on Saturdays and what seems a family visit on Sunday (80km trip). Ctrack also recorded a maximum speed of 144km/h.</p> <p> </p> <p>I contacted Ford (Hatfield) since I have a contract with them (and not with Ford's subcontractors) and requested retribution (i.e. e-Toll, Fuel, AA rates for kilos travelled (Ctrack evidence), car wash, AA report that my vehicle was not in an accident and an undertaking that Ford Hatfield shall pay all traffic fines in the period that the car was in their possession).</p> <p>Ford Hatfield only agreed to a full tank of fuel (but gave it back to me 3/4 filled and I left it with more than half a tank), car wash and the undertaking to pay fines.</p> <p>I did not even get a proper apology from Ford (one of the managers just promised me “someone will be fired”, but what does that helped me?) and the only positive is my shopping experience and customer service I got from the salesman, Jorrie Bezuidenhout.</p>
