Unbelievable bad service and product
I have a ford kuga 1.6 ecoboost 2013, Ford did the recalls in 2017 and i serviced at car service city, oil filter and oil change november 2017. My car broke down 21 April 2018 and it had a hole in the nr 4 piston. Ford SA said warranty void as i did not know i had to service with a ford dealer, i thought any RMI dealer, this was not made clear to me. I send photos of the damage to Ford SA and they only said warranty void, i did ask for a answer because a oil filter and oil change cannot cause the hole in the piston as a few mechanics and service dealers said (eg: steve auto clinic, khanda engineering, degen engineering, spannerboyz etc) their is something clearly wrong with this engine and Ford SA just say warranty void.... And i read in a article allegations these Ford Kugas 2013/2014 was imported after they recalled this vehicles in other countrys and then Ford SA sold them in south africa. Please Google( timeslive ford offers kuga owners settlements ahead of consumer commision report).
