Unacceptable issue with service plan

I drive a 2015 Ford Fiesta 1.4 which I purchased second hand last year, the 7th of July, 2015 from Ford Randburg. The sales consultant that sold me the car assured me that the car came with a service plan and was still valid for the last two years of the three year service plan period.

Today, I took my car in for its 1 year/40 000km service at Ford William Nicol, and was contacted a few hours after dropping the car off, to be told that my car service plan did not existing and has not been loaded up for the car. Obviously this came as a surprise to me so I contact Ford Randburg, where I purchased the car. After many phone calls to the salesman and the front desk, I was told this car did not come with a service plan, which is *******, because the car comes standard with a service plan, second hand or not.

I have been informed now, that I have to pay for the car service and then submit the invoice to Ford Randburg for reimbur*****t. This is definitely not the kind of service I expect from Ford, especially as I have had a Ford for over 6 years and have nothing but good things to say.

Today changed that perspective for me completely.

I want to know what is going to happen now with my service plan, as legally it should still be valid for next year aswell? Why am I paying the same price for a Ford Fiesta that should come standard with a service plan and doesn’t apparently have one? If the car doesn’t have a service plan then I want the money that is owed to me to be removed from the total cost of the car.

This is unfair and I am a victim here and I want this sorted out. If this does not get sorted out, I am going to take this matter to Facebook and to Hello Peter in the next 24 hours.

Please contact me urgently.
