Trouble with new Ranger XL 2014 model
Last year I bought the Ford Ranger XL Double Cab 2014 model. Due to insurance requirements, I had to install a tracker (Cartrack) and I also installed a reverse camera. Recently however, I have been having a lot of trouble with the bakkie. First at the front of the bakkie a part was broken. Took the bakkie to Casseys Auto in Springs, they said Ford was at fault and they fixed it. Then one day all of a sudden I had no lights, dims and brights worked fine but not the normal lights. Took it to Casseys Auto again, they fixed it. Went well for a while, then one day I just had no battery power. Jumped started the bakkie, had no lights again, went to Ford, they reset everything. I removed the camera screen, thinking it might be that. Then this week again, one morning, no battery power. Went to Casseys again, bakkie stood there for 2 days. Tested the battery, said everything is fine. When I got home, again, no lights. This is a brand new bakkie. I mean if it was the tracker I would have had trouble from the start. I know a lot of people with the same tracking device - no problems and each tracker is connected the same way, position might differ. Dissapointed. For 6800 a month I get this??
