The Ford Service and Customer Care Irony
Disgustingly poor service over the passed 7 years. Currently I've been waiting for my car for more than two moths now and a new paperless system and a sick technician is their excuses. It is in for a repair under warranty that was apparently only approved out of Ford's "good will" which I have come to know is not a good thing at all. Now they take as long as they want, no rush at all, and also although they have acknowledged their faults they just had to let me know that they wont cover anything like it again. The current repair is because of the 2018 Head Gasket Recall that was not carried out correctly and now the engine leaks oil where the timing cover and the head gasket meets. The technicians at Eagle Ford did not bother to order more sealant when they ran out apparently. I've had two Ford Focusses, the 1.0 Ecoboost and currently a 2.3 RS. They are astounding cars, but Ford Service and Ford Customer Care is one big irony because you get absolutely no service and they do not have a care in the world about customers not having their car for months. I even went more than a month without a courtesy car. All the dealerships I've encountered was the same: Fury, Eagle, Lazarus, CMH Kempster, and ECM. My previous car stood for days at Lazarus without them touching it only to tell me I should go fix a rim when I went to just get it becuase I could not wait any longer for feedback, at Fury I asked them to fix a break-disk issue and they just ignored me, CMH was in cahoots with a second hand dealership that tried selling me a heavily modified Focus RS after I specified I want it stock, and now ECM has showed me the definition of Ford's "good will". Through all this I was alway patient and kind and I've even heard from a Ford SA employee that I'm being taken advantage of.
