Terrible service from Ford

PLEASE SHARE and let @FordSouthAfrica see this because their service is pathetic and they do not care for their customers or stand by their products.

So in October 2017 I brought a brand new Ford Ranger from @consolidatedauto in Boksburg. I drove it up to Mozambique in December where it just stopped working and left me stranded in the bush hours walk from a tar or my final destination and had to spend the night in the bush. @fordsouthafrica does not provide roadside assistance or any assistance for anything in Mozambique. Even when it is a manufacturing fault of their own on a brand new car. After their Last scandal of cars instantaneously combusting you would think they would have a tighter hand on their manufacturing and would have become better equipped for road side assistance.

Anyway we transported the car out of our own expense from vilanculos down to @fordmaputo where we were told it could be fixed under the warranty. We have found out that it was a seal on the gearbox that broke and began to leak oil. So absolutely no fault of our own but Ford Maputo recommended that we try get the car back to South Africa where @fordsouthafrica should be able to fix it faster because of importing parts.

@fordsouthafrica is useless in assisting us. We spend hours on hold every day and they refuse to help us because the car is in Mozambique.

I am also now sitting without a work vehicle at the start of new year and have no explanation as to why I can not get any assistance from **********

The service we have received from @fordsouthafrica and @consolidatedauto is pathetic. Ford does not stand by their products and does not provided support for their customers. I will never recommend anyone to buy a Ford car ever again.
