Terrible Ford Witbank sales service

Contacted Ford dealership in Witbank got a deal approved on a Ranger. Nobody said anything about another deal that is pending. F&I called me with interest rate and I said go ahead all is well. Waited untill the next morning asked the sales person what is the holdup they ignored me. I already got insurance on the Ranger. The sales person eventually answered the phone say she is in a meeting will call back in 5 minutes. Call never came about 20minutes later I get an email stating that the vehicle had been sold to someone else, they had another deal and it approved before mine. Hoe is that possible if the F&I called me and asked at the end of the call if she can have the sales person get the vehicle ready for me... Is it normal practice to sell the same car to two different people?
