Terrible Client Experience - Ford Menlyn

I recently serviced my vehicle at menlyn Ford and I made a request for the dealership to please rotate my tires on the vehicle. I got a call during the day saying that they couldn't as they couldn't locate my lock nut. I had unfortunately misplaced the nut during the week and needed to buy another . I then arranged for the dealership to change my tires at a later stage which they agreed too. I called in to the dealership today to ask if they could assist me as I had my new lock nut. I was transfered between departments until eventually one person assisted me. Each time I raised the concern of waiting on the line with nobody to assist yet the staff member on the other line just transfered the call without listening to me as a customer and acknowledging the challenge on their side. One would at least expect an apology from the transferring employee but not one apology recieved from either of the 4 staff members who Picked up the phone. Eventually I spoke to a young lady by the name of Almare , i asked if I could bring my vehicle in and how long would I wait as time is a challenge to me, I was told that I can just come in and they will assist me with no delay at all. I advised her that I would come immediately to which I did. I arrived and the greeting recieved by the staff was actually shocking - all I wanted was an acknowledgement that we see u and that we would like to help you but no I had to navigate through the various staff on my own. I eventually found my way through the dealership and saw a lady with the name tag almare. I chatted to her as she obviously was the staff member whom I spoke to spoke . Almare advised me to take a seat and wait as Anton would need to see me. I waited and then saw Anton. Again no greeting or willingness to assist just a statement I will be with you know. I took it that he was busy and waited for a couple of minutes. While waiting I tried using the dealerships vending machine to get a snack, I use the word tried as the machine decided to take my money without granting me the credit to purchase the snack I paid for. I raised this with almare who advised me she will talk to the DM....almare came back and advised me that he is in a meeting and wont be able to come through now, no further conversation to apologise or resolve the matter. I then put in money again to which the machine accepted the funds but didn't dispense my item. I called Anton who then shook the machine. My snack dropped and he said I hear the machine took your funds. After confirming this no attempt was made to resolve the issue. After a lengthy period not sure of the time " easily 15-20min" I asked Anton what's happening. He then advised me that he is awaiting a ramp for my vehicle to go onto and will let me know once available. I was getting very upset now as I am having to wait on end with no resolution, no one kept me in the loop around my car and the request to change my tires. I then took a walk down to the second hand space to look at vehicles to pass time. Again away for approx 10min Om my return my vehicle still had not moved although I had noticed a vehicle had changed on a ramp... Was I being ignores or was I not important enough? An hour has come and gone and I your customer has been disappointed since the moment I walked into your dealership. Client service is obviously not important in your eyes and unfortunately this will result in me never using your dealership Again. I have had 5 other vehicles from different brands but never ever have I been so disappointed in a brand that doesn't place it's clients at the centre of all that they do. I was in the process of looking to buy a Ford Focus ST3 from a Ford dealership but this experience has now changed my perception. Sorry Ford Menlyn this is beyond disappointing " each time I have visited your dealership it has been an unpleasant experience not only for me but for other clients too". I suggest a basic client service course is needed by all staff as it seems to be a trend through your staff compliment well at least the 3/4 i came into direct contact with. Basic soft s**** training is recommended if you ask me as it's crucial to any business and brand.... It's not what you do or didn't do its how you make your client feel. I have typed this message twice and read through it twice whilst sitting and WAITING in your dealership.
