SYNC Smart Radio/Sat. Nav Software malfunction

I recently purchased a New Ford Focus. During my holiday, the software on the SNYC Smart radio, reset itself to American Settings. My insurer or warranty will not cover the repairs for the vehicle. I have not tampered with the vehicle's software at any time. Ford Sandton quoted me R100 000 to fix something that's not my fault. Ford South Africa, Please advise??
