stndrd wheel spaner and wheel nuts don't corespond

I had a flat wheel on my ford ranger on the N4 between nelspruit and Belfast. The standard wheel spanner that I received with the vehicle with standard mag rims and nuts does not fit . I stood next to the road for over 4 hours. Somebody tried to rob me. Some one with exactly the same vehicle as mine ,ford ranger 2.2 xls stopped to Asist me. And his wheel spanner did not fit ether but mine fitted perfectly on his. Mine also fits on my one front wheel. But not the rest. Not even a cross wheel spanner fits on my vehicle I phoned ford sa. Their response se..? Sorry the case is now closed. Because it's a out of pocket expense . I am not happy about this. My life was in danger.
