Stay away from Ford

To add onto the trail below . I am frankly out of words with Ford as a whole . So after i decided to trade in the 2019 4*4 3.2 litre because off the endless issues to the 2019 4*4 bi-turbo the issues have continued . At this point i just want to get rid off this truck and close my very bad chapter with Ford. Issues with the new one are 1) Car has gone to panel beating again to resolve misalignment of the doors. I don't get how 2 brand new separate cars can have the exact same issue . Are cars not checked at all ? And FORD see's nothing wrong with panel beating a car worth 650k straight out off the box. Frankly its unacceptable ,how you can pay so much for sub standard products. At least this time they had the decency to give me a courtesy car unlike Ford Silver lakes .2) For the 1st 2 weeks after picking up the car i had issues with the Day time lights. They just wouldn't go off .At one point i had to remove the battery as they stayed ON EVEN AFTER CAR WAS SWITCHED OFF3) Fuel gauge was also faulty 1st 2 weeks . I poured fuel multiple times but the gauge still showed empty ,so was driving around with no knowledge off actual fuel left in the car .4) The doors were letting in outside noises due to faulty or incorrectly app**** rubbers as was the issue with the previous 2019 Ford i had .5) Last Friday November 8th i took in the car for the door issues to be addressed . Service Manager is Christopher Marais at Ford Hatfield . I don't drive my car during the week so i took it out for the doors to be fixed . They eventually finished about 4:30pm and i was called to collect . They then said car had to come following week for panel beating ,which i unwillingly agreed too .As it was now end off the day i left Ford Hatfield for Home (Midrand) so i basically jumped on the highway . While on the highway i heard a funny noise from back tyre and though maybe its just wind ,but then the tyre monitor came on and started showing the back tyre was loosing pressure . So i had to pull over and take a look and by then the tyre was flat . A whole ***** driver was lodged in the tyre .And as the car had spent the whole day at Ford,i am off the notion the ***** driver was from the Ford workshop. When i raised the issue with Christopher the sales manager he vehemently refused the claim .My car has 2000km on the clock . Only went out for the service and came out with the ***** driver . The image off the ***** is attached . So now i have to replace a tyre which was damaged at Ford. Ford needs to improve really in all areas cause basically bad service all around . After i get rid off my ford i am never buying Ford and will advise all my contacts not too either and will share all my issues on social media As i am writing this email car has been at panel beaters for past 3 days.

The car had factory defects i picked up when i had ,had the car for about a week. I then raised the issue with the salesman and he didn't seem interested . I then raised my issue with the Ford Marketer and sent him the query email with images and videos. He couldn't open the email but didn't tell me that. Only after more calls from me did he say he couldn't open the email cause off the attachments. I then sent follow up email and asked him to forward his manager which he didn't . My complaint is that the car i bought is currently Absa's .Absa doesnt care on disputing the purchase .They just want their money. So basically they happy to have me pay for a faulty car,for 5 years . Ford closed the case and said they cant Help. Ford doesnt care as they have made their sale. I have been to MIOSA and banking ombudsman and no one will give me the time off day Car was taken by the panel beaters to a Panel beater a week after i bought the car which is unacceptable . So i am being forced to just accept it as is. Issues Raised 1) Today is 29 march and i still don't have the car plates . The temp licence was meant to expire next week Tuesday 2) The car has factory defects which should have been picked up at the factory . Both the driver door and the passenger doorare not properly aligned . And hence are very difficult to close and let in air while driving .Which should def been picked up byBoth FORD and the dealer. 3) There are still traces off stickers that where left over on the car from when it was sold . Not sure who didn't check those aswell. 4) The Entertainment system is buggy to say the list . It freezes until i turn off the engine. Sometimes i cant make calls or skiptracks . The Navigation doesn't work at times . 5) When i raised the issue about the doors i was referred to a panel beater who would resolve the issue. That is franklyunacceptable . How can a brand new car ,now have to go for panel beating . 6) When i told you off my concerns ,you said i should go to the closest Ford. My time is very limited and i shouldnt be doingsuch on a new car . Today i have lost half the day at Ford cause i had to go twice to Ford Silver Lakes . 7) When i dropped off the car ,i asked for a courtesy car and i was told none was available . Which is also disappointingservice as there is no ETA on when my issues will be resolved . 8) There are funny sounds ,squealing while reversing . 9) Car vibrates quite a bit while idling 10) Intermittent sounds from Engine side while driving .

Basically you better off buying a used car as you expect issues . With new cars you pay top dollar and are ********** by the system. The dealers know they have a lot off power and dont really care. So the consumers are at the mercy off these companies. Cause basically nowhere in the chain is a consumers right catered for . You buy a faulty car and you are forced to stick with it.
