Stanger Ford 'FORGETS' To Pay My Warranty

My father in law and myself had purchased a Used Ford Ranger 2.2 single cab in November 2017 from Stanger Auto (Stanger Ford), mileage at that time of the vehicle was 118000km and we were told that the factory warranty will expire at 120000km. We then opted to purchase an extended warranty costing between R7000 to R7000 (unsure of the price at this time), the extended warranty was told to kick in and start at 120000km. Recently, about 2 months back we encountered problems with the bakkie going into limp mode, we had booked it in for a check to another dealership reason being that Stanger Ford does not have a service department opened during the period that they are moving to their new premises. Take into consideration that this other dealership is +/-30km further from us than Stanger Ford. After booking it in to this other Ford dealership we were told by their service department that the vehicle has a turbocharger problem and it needs to be replaced, however the cost will be R16000 because THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. That's right, no warranty. I had called Stanger Ford, spoke to Leanne who says she's 'in workshop' I was told that she will help me with this warranty story. After a day they contact me saying there was a problem on their side and they did not pay Ford Motor Company for the warranty - how unprofessional right. I understood as mistakes happen and said not a problem, when will I be able to claim for this vehicle as we are now short of a vehicle, I was then told by her that it will take 2 or 3 days for it to show on the system and I'll then be able to claim. I had to then go and fetch the vehicle from the other dealership and wait 3 days. I told Leanne to please forward me the documents of the warranty via email as I would like to have a copy of it, up until today I didn't get that email. After 3 days I booked it back at this other dealership only to have a booking available for the 7th May 2018 (yesterday) as they are quite busy and they do offer the best customer service. After dropping the van off at this dealership yesterday I get a call from them saying that they can't pick up any extended warranty on this vehicle. Yes, again Stanger Ford seemingly did nothing about our warranty fault. I had called but as usual Leeane never answered my call. I had then asked to speak to the dealer principal but unfortunately whoever he or she is couldn't take my call. I got a call from Leeane a while after saying that she is going to check why this is happening as it is impossible for the warranty not to show on the other dealerships side. She then said that she will look for the documents and again, will email them to me by 9am today the 8th of May 2018. As usual, still no email from Leeane and up until I had called her an hour ago I got no feedback from her - as if I'm not as important as their other customers I guess. I tried calling her cell, she never answered. I then spoke to a kind lady by the name of Jenny who had opted to assist me in getting Leeane to call me regarding the issue. She explained it to me that Ford Motor Company only loads new warranties once a month and that's on the 10th of every month - this isn't my problem as when I purchased the vehicle and got the vehicle financed it was all paid in full for. She had informed me that I had to wait 2 - 3 days for it to be loaded on the Ford system and then only will I be able to claim, this means I must now pick up my vehicle from the other dealership and take it back when it suits Stanger Ford??? Nonsense. I requested a courtesy vehicle from her because I can not stay without a vehicle for that long AGAIN ALL BECAUSE OF THEIR MISHAP NOT ONCE BUT TWICE DUE TO BEING UNPROFESSIONAL. She then stated I must deal with my salesman for a courtesy vehicle, since when does salesmen handle courtesy vehicles when it belongs to the workshop??? I said no, I will speak to the manager regarding this because non of them are helping me anymore, only giving me the run around. I must admit, I did raise my voice a few times, but who in their right mind will be happy to sit with a vehicle that has a blown turbo for more than 2 months just because the dealership made a mishap??? Well not me. Leeane had then told me that she does not appreciate me raising my voice at her, I then stated that if she had bought a vehicle and had this run around from them, would she be happy? And guess what, she cuts the call.. Yes, because she can't stand to admit that her dealership and her colleagues are at fault. I require that Ford South Africa contact Stanger Ford and request for my courtesy vehicle be delivered to me until THEIR problem with my warranty is sorted out. This needs to be done ASAP or I will take it further. Terrible service I must say.
