Shocking Ford Service

Good day,

I currently own a Ford Focus Ecoboost 5 door. My registration number DW80LMGP.

My vehicle in September 2017 had to have the engine replaced due to a water issue. This repair/replacement was done by CMH Ford Randburg, this process took over three weeks to be rectified. The delays were caused by poor information given by the dealership and the dealership could not find my car in their lot. On calling the dealer principal he said that if he had known about my car he would not have taken it! This was due to them being to full. This obviously cost me money as I had to Uber to get round. I drove the car around for awhile and picked up an error with an engine warning light. I did not take the vehicle back to CMH Ford as I could not deal with the poor service received.

With the warning light error I took the car to Fury Ford Fourways, mainly due to the fact their service levels are good. They fixed the error, again I was without a car for several days. After driving the car around for a period the error returned. I again took the car into Fury Ford and this time they found the error. I was told the error related to poor wiring and an engine harness issue from the new engine installation.

My vehicle is again at Fury Ford, this time for a new issue. My car has been at the dealership since the 1st March 2018. Today I was informed that there is an injector problem with my car from the new engine installation. I have been informed that Ford SA will not cover this as they have paid once, Fury Ford have to go to CMH Ford Randburg to get them to pay for the repair. This is outrageous. In meantime I sit with no car and incurring additional cost to keep my job.

Since I received the car from the engine replacement I have had endless issues with the car and the car has been in a dealership for in excess of two months. Therefore from September 2017 to date I have not had a car for two months. This is without compensation and still paying for the vehicle I cannot use.

I found this situation completely unacceptable.

After much time, I am disappointed to report that the matter has ended up being an unsatisfactory result. The only way I can get my car back is by incurring additional costs. I can say with a 100% cer*****y that I will never buy another Ford in my life.
