Ranger's getting lighter, parts falling off.

I have 2017 Ranger XL D/C (from new). In the last 2 weeks 2 rubber pads? fell off of it (in the back). These measure about 150*100*10mm. They were just stuck on at assembly. Are these parts supposed to fall off, if so, why bother to attach them?
