Ranger bakkie pointless

We have a fleet of 5 late model Ranger bakkies including 2 flagship Wildtrak bakkies. Last year we took reciept of a 2.2 lwb Ranger (reg: #######) and immediately started using it as a towing vehicle for our 20 kva trailerized generator. With machinery in the bin (never exceeding 450kgs) and generator on the towbar, we experienced a bit of sway. a Quick solution was to stiffen the rear suspension, and after much consultation we went with a company called " www.supersprings.co.za " who apparently do suspension upgrades on Ford , Toyota and Isuzu for some time already. They offered a upgrade that was "non invasive" and merely an add-on the existing springs (nothing was stripped on the original suspension).

Months later the differential broke at the pinion and the vehicle was unfortunately towed to Tygervalley Barloworld. Never have we experienced unwillingness to help like we did with them. They are aware that the suspension has nothing to do with the differential failure, but they keep referring us to FordSA (that is when they actually respond to mails).

We are a small company with only 20 workers, but we rely heavily on our bakkies as we do remote waterpipe installations in townships as well as build sanitation plants. We cannot afford breakdowns and that is why we bought almost R4m worth of bakkies from Barloworld N1 city in the last 2 years. We take all precautions for these breakdowns not to happen eg, daily checks, services, netstar to track driver behavior and we feel that we deserve better service from Ford.
