poor manufactuting of High Pressur pump

MY 2015 Ford Kuga 1.5 Ecoboost Ambiente went into limp mode while driving on 19 December 2019. After towing it to Ford the Glen they inspected the engine and came back with the HIGH PRESSURE PETROL pump broke into pieces damaging the crank shaft, with repairs quoted at R25 000.00. I have raised this with Ford South Africa as this clearly is a malfunction in the manufacturing of the HIGH PRESSURE pump. Untill today I have only had generic email responces with no luck of getting any assistance or answers as to why this happend
