Poor customer service/ lack of concern for the customer.

In August 2014 I purchased a new Ford Focus ST1 from Mekor Claremont Ford Mazda. The vehicle was hailed damaged and was repaired by Ford prior to delivery and came with a separate body warranty but with a reduced price. Unbeknown to me the vehicle had a pre delivery inspection on the 30th April 2014. I took the vehicle in for its first service with Eastern Cape Motors on the 5th August 2015 only to be told that my vehicle should have been serviced in April 2015 due to the date of the pre delivery inspection. Due to this I am now penalized with having to pay the first 25% of any warranty claims. Unfortunately I now have a faulty right rear indicator harness/ fitting and after three attempts to rectify this I am now advised by eastern cape motors east London that I must pay over R700,00 for the replacement part . Despite numerous mails and phone calls Ford refuses to correct this error on the system and maintain I am at fault for a late service and therefore the penalty remains intact. Pity about a lack of concern to their customers when the product is so good. Being a National Quality Manager for a major Oem supplier I know that if I treated my customers like this we would not remain in business or alternately I would not be working for my company. I suppose my next step is to write to CAR magazine and voice my concerns. Hopefully somebody at Ford sits up and takes note.
