Poor back up service from Ford Motor Co

I am helping a eldery gent with his car,the mechanic asked me to get new big end bearings.i first tried the spares shops ,no luck i the phoned the Ford dealer ships in Herm**** .somerset west and Cape Town.all three had a different story but the end result was the same .we do not supply the spares you looking for. i then contacted the Ford Motor Co of SA via their web site.i did this on 2 occasions and to date no reply.Now if this was a 1920 ford i would say ok ,but this is a 2007 Ford Bantam 1600.Now you cannot get the bearings from the spares shop.and not from the dealer.Ford SA does not reply to a query on their web page . so have they become a micky mouse outfit that advertises their motor cars with all kinds of promises,or are those promises only for new cars and cars not older than 5 years then you must rely on imported parts from China.which are at present not available.Sorry but i am not impressed and dissapointed in the service i did not get from Ford SA.
