Please remove the incorrect status and issue me with the correct confirmation

Ford finance, financed my vehicle in 2008. It was paid up. I went to the traffic department and the vehicle shows as the financier's asset. How is this possible? I need the system to be updated please so that I can stop wasting money on yearly disk as this car appears under my name. I don't know if it still moves. 2008 to 2024, no system update?
