Pathetic Service
Shocking Customer Service! I took my Ford Fiesta 2015 in for a service in January, and I mentioned that there was something wrong with the front wipers - the water no longer sprayed. The diagnostics revealed that it was the wiper master switch that needed to be replaced. The service manager was terrible with communicating anything to me, and this was only confirmed when I went to fetch the car and he told me that the part would need to be ordered and he advised on the cost. After some run around it was established that as this was an electronic fault it should be covered under the 4-year warranty. The warranty expired mid-Feb, and by then nothing was done. I then eventually took the car back in June as nothing had been resolved and I wanted the issue fixed. A new service manager was assigned to me and she confirmed it should be covered by the warranty but the warranty was now expired. I obviously disputed this saying that they have a record of the issue while the vehicle was in its warranty period! I had raised the concern that the previous service manager never followed up on my messages or calls, and the new service manager initially seemed more on the ball. Well now it is 3 weeks later, I still have no answers, and I never manage to get hold of Charlene (Service Manager in Mt Edgecomb). The receptionist is less than helpful and struggles to divert a call, my calls get dropped, or I get looped back to the switchboard, and the messages I leave never get responded to. I am sick and tired of this run-around and listening to that stupid 'fun fair' hold music they play. Your service is pathetic.
And just to add salt to the wounds, I got a courtesy call from Ford yesterday to find out if everything was ok, and they tried to sell me a Ford Ranger. When I advised the consultant that I had a pending query logged and was struggling with feedback and was quite upset by the process, she responded by saying: 'Sorry to hear that. Do you have any potential contacts you can share with me of any family or friends who would be interested in a Ford?'. To which my response was pure shock, how could she ask me this while I had just explained my frustrations to her? I told her that I was surprised by her question after I had just told her about my pending claim and frustration with dealing with Ford, to which her response was 'Sorry for the inconvenience, have a good day' and she put down the phone!
USELESS USELESS USELESS!
