Out in the cold - Ford ecosport A/T 1Lt Engine failure at 45993km.

Following on from my last review regarding the service I am receiving for my Ford ecosport A/T 1Lt Titanium 2018 form Ford SA. Issue noted is that my engine light came on and after taking the vehicle to Ford the feedback is that the engine had lost compression in one of the cylinders where Ford has advised that I need a full engine replacement (Quote R130000.00). The reason given by Ford for the Cylinder loosing compression is that the fuel used is contaminated (Bad Fuel). I have 2 issues with this and that is my vehicle has only done 45993km as I work from Home and am surprised that My Ford ecosport had engine failure due to bad fuel when I use the same fuel stations as other road users in my area. Ford has now said they are closing the enquiry as it is an external influence and besides the assistance at the service desk, no other support or assistance has been offered by Ford?

Reviewer Update
As a follow Up on my Ford ecosport that had engine failure at 45993KM;
I managed to save up enough funds to have the vehicle repaired. This has taken almost a year to finally get my vehicle back and it has been a frustrating journey till now.
The repairs have been concluded and the vehicle is running well. The information regarding the engine failure is some what a misnomer where FORD noted that the engine failed due to contaminated fuel however when the vehicle was returned I was advised that the 3rd piston had broken. This indicates that it was a hardware failure within the engine and not what FORD had advised. I have the engine parts that were removed that conclusively shows the broken piston.
We place such trust in the large corporations that service us as customers, This has now placed even a lager disappointment in the FORD product and the service that they offer.
