Never waste your time and buy a ford
Worst and dumbest of people .....I will never buy a ford again... coz ford only worries about they pocket and not about clients satisfaction ....I would like to lodge a complaint regarding a dealership and the service from them, as per date 2019-03-18, I went to order parts at the branch named FURY FORD AND MAZDA TOTI , as I placed my order, I cancelled a few of the items, due to load shedding , and time I paid and I went away , on the next day dated 2019-03-19 around about 1 pm I returned to collect my parts, as I was checking and ticking off each item as they was a lot of items purchased , I noticed some of the items I paid for which I told them to remove, the sales person name is Danny Reddy, so as I was checking I told him I don't need these and I stated that I told you to remove it, so I asked him if he could refund this products, he stated as I quote, I cannot refund this item as it's a slow moving item, and that the branch will run a loss , so I quote, is they no customers satisfaction at this branch. if they return it, but as he said he will ask the parts manager, then he stated I must keep the items and if someone coms looking for the items they will contact me, honestly not sure, were does ford makes these rules, after a while I asked to see the dealer principal.
At about 2pm I went to the acting dealer principal office and stood outside, as the dealer principal and branch manager is on leave, I waited about 15 - 20 min's before I could be attended to, I've spoken to DAVID LUCIEN I explained he took my invoice to the parts manager, and came back telling me that they will keep my parts, until they sell it and only then will they refund me.
The parts manager DONOVAN NAIDOO wrote on my invoice : these parts where returned, parts will be in stock and tried to be sold, on customers behalf, there after invoice will be credited, and refund to client. (in the return policy or the consumer act policy 68 of 2008, does not say that when a item is returned, the dealership, must find a buyer before you can get a refund, note that the parts didn't leave the dealership. And I didn't give any notice or instruction to sell parts on my behalf as I said I wanted to return these items.
1. So does the consumer act state that on returning of items , once the items get resold only then you will receive your money?
2. Telling your consumer to keep the item , even after they told the sales person it was ordered by mistake, is that how service delivery practiced by FORD,
3. These parts are for a new vehicle, and I was told that they cannot return this parts, is this the type of return policy FORD dealers gives they consumers.
4. Please note these are not electrical items , part numbers are :AB ********** AD and AB395389XAB
As per ford return policy states:
The dealership you ordered from will accept returns or exchanges ford parts and accessories postmarked within 30 days of your receipt and credit you within 30 days of parts returned (which I feel I have been ****** off) nowhere it states that only when items are sold then only you can be credited, as a ford owner, I feel I was misled by the branch and taken for a ride, because it's the 1st time I've heard a policy like this, if they is a return policy that is more interested in money and not worried about service delivery, please forward me a copy of it
