Misleading Adverti*****t

Ford advertise that their Fiesta ST 1600 comes standard with a perimeter alarm system. In my case I had a break into my car and discovered from a FORD dealer that my 2014 ST had an alarm system fitted but not connected due to a wiring harness which does not cater for the alarm system. , meaning that the alarm system has not even been connected. After over a month dealing with their complaints department, FORD say there is nothing they can do about it. That is to say the least pathetic. I experienced losses due to a manufacturer that is advertising on their specifications that the Fiesta 1600 ST is fitted standard with a perimeter alarm system and then the wiring harness of the car is not catering for the alarm system. Anyway anybody out there driving a Fiesta ST or considering buying one be warned. I will take the matter up with the South African consumer council for misleading adverti*****t and believe that a recall on these cars is important.. Furthermore I will inform the major insurance houses of this problem as they might and still will experience losses due to to this misleading adverti*****t.
