Manufacturing fault of automatic clutches for EcoSport 1.5 Auto - Titanium? Is there a Recall Pending?

I would like to know if others have had a similar experience and if so, how was it resolved.

In December, my wife and I bought a used 2015 Ford EcoSport 1.5 Automatic Titanium. We included in the price a 2 year extended service plan. Beautiful little car, but after about a month or so, we started to notice that the automatic clutch was beginning to shudder, so we took it to Basil Read Ford in Edenvale to have it checked out. The technician asked whether we were experiencing clutch shudder because that is a common fault with these cars. I answered in the affirmative. They tested the car, but gave a feeble report stating that the car's clutch was within specification, which did not satisfy me. I then wrote an email to Ford SA to complain. Their response was unsatisfactory especially considering that this is reportedly a common occurrence - manufacturing defect? I have booked the car in at Kempton Ford for the 21st June to go through the same test, as it has definitely gotten worse and don't believe it is within specification. I will give a follow up report after the 21st June.
