Horror with Ford SA and Eastvaal ford
I have had it with Ford SA and Eastvaal ford in witbank. I bought my cat about April 2019 and all went well until the timing belt broke in February 16th 2020. My car was towed to Eastvaal ford witbank. I received my car back on 6th of July... Almost 5 months... I do understand the lockdown was 2 months that they couldnt fix my car... But my car stood outside in the rain for 3 weeks before ford took it in the workshop. Then I had to wait for a new engine as my car is a ford focus 2017 tdci model and still under waranty. I received a courtesy vehicle single cab rord ranger bakkie also a diesel which was extremely heavy on diesel which cost me a lot of money compared to my focus for 5 months as I was working during lockdown. Now I paid my car and it's insurace for the whole duration of the 5 horrible months other cars was pushed in front of my car as well as ford did not make money out of my car. Extra diesel money. Now what also upsets me is the fact that when I received my car back I did not have an extra waranty on the new engine... My waranty is running out in 2021...I already missed 5 months to see if any problems appears in this time frame. You will not believe me... My car is back at ford... It broke down with me on the highway at night in dangerous South Africa on my way home from work on the 3rd day that i was driving it. It stodd the other 2 days at home as I was of... I called the emergency numbers 1 and 2 at ford with no one answering only going to voicemail... My insurance had to bail me out again... Waiting for an hour on the highway with cars speeding by... I lost all my confidence in ford and I do not want the car anymore... When my waranty runs out I will have to pay out of my own pocket... By the way... The engine costs about 100k to replace... I bought this car to drive for atleast 8 years before I buy my next car... I need ford to compensate me in a way that is really special for all the hell I've been through the last couple of months... My bosses at work are angry with me for taking off to sort out the mess... Getting courtesy cars taking the other borrowed cars back to middelburg where i live and then have to go back to work with the courtesy cars. Arranging people to assist me in getting the other vehicle home as ford employees could not help. I did not even get 1 phone call in the 5 months to tell me about the progress of my car... I always had to phone and phone back when the people was not availible... It was a nightmare... And I'm still in it. Please Peter. Help me... Ford must take their car back and give me a relaible car and do something special for me... This has put so much stress on me. I HAVE SENT Ford SA an email... They would have responded within 48hours...that is a week agoThank you. Johann Venter
