*****ulant Number Plates

My wife bought a Demo Model Ford Figo (White) from Daly Ford Potchefstroom in November 2014. When we tried to renew her license disc the traffic department said there are outstanding fines of R 2200.00. This came as a shock since she travels 5km per day. After investigation we saw that the vehicle that accumulates all the fines is a Blue Ford Ranger Double Cab. Ford Daly registered her car with her new number plates before she took ownership of the vehicle. The registration number that accumulates all the fines were the number plates that WAS on the vehicle BEFORE she took ownership. Ford Daly charged in excess of R 4000.00. to register the licence and new number plates in her name.<br> <br> Ford Daly does not want to take ownership of the problem, nor do they say it is their fault.<br> <br> Ford Daly told us to take up the matter with AARTO and that there is nothing they can do.<br> 1. Why is the old number plates in her name??? (JDC 151 NW)<br> 2. Why is the old number plates still in circulation on a different Ford Vehicle?<br> 3. How can it NOT be their fault if they did the registration?<br> <br> According to me this is blatant *****!!!
