#fordkugasucks
Good day I would like to share my story and hopefully someone can give me some advice as i have had enough. I bought a brand new Ford kuga titanium tdci out of the box in Feb 2016.
It was smooth sailing till the kuga hit 40 000km on the clock. In June 2017 i was called out to a mine where i worked at 03h00 the morning. On the turn into the mine my car lost power and service niw warning sign came on. They towed yhe car to ford brits. Sfter a week i was informed that my cambelt broke and the cars head was damaged. The dealership then told me that the waranty will not payout as it was due to chrome contamination. So i requested that ford should please close all their shops in the bushveld complex and inform all living in said area that their waranty will not cover if it said to be chrome contamination. I finally got them to pay 60%. Then one of their more higher intelligent ford customer care operators told me that the reason for this was the way i changed gears. So i asked him to put that for me in writing as well. After receiving this in writing i phoned them back and then asked the same operator to please check my car description and explain to me what the AT means at the end.
He then confirmed automatic so i then told him that means i do not change anygears its a computer box that makes that decision and due to this i expect that my car to be fixed 100% under waranty. Which took them 5 months to do.
I received my car back Nov 2017. I drove less than 1000 km when my car all of a sudden started to loose power. I took it back and they then confirmed that it was the turbo which failed. I got the car back mid dec 2017. Drove less than 3000km when the car started to loose power and just does not want to drive. Took it back to Ford rtb whereby they say that it was nos the gearbox. They replaced it and i received the car back round March 2018.
Drove to the car to 60 000km took it in for a service. I drove the car Aug 2018 through to Steelpoort on the wayback at approx 63 000km the car broke down again this time they replaced the whole engine. I received the car back in the beginning of Nov 2018.
On my way back to Steelpoort at approx 65 000km the car suddenly lost all power. I suspect that it is the turbo again. (18 Nov 2018).
I would like to know what can i do since 2016 this car stood for over a year with breakdowns and is not trustworthy. I am tired of paying for the car. #fordsucks #dontbuyford #fordsa #paybackmymoney #fordkuga #sotiredofford
