Ford won't provide a cost estimate on a service before you buy a car. You must buy it first!!

I am looking to purchase a Double Cab bakkie. After phoning a few manufacturers and getting estimates on service costs on the various vehicles., I phoned Ford to get an estimate on a minor service and major service on their Ranger. First I was told to phone again on Monday as their service department does not work on weekeends. So I phoned again on Monday morning. I explained that I am looking at purchasing, but would like to know the costs on servicing. I was met with excuse after excuse on why they cannot give any estimates before you buy. You have to first buy a vehicle, then they can give you an estimate on the service costs?? How can you tell someone buy the vehicle first, then worry about costs later. Very concerning. Then I got other arguments that they need a registration number of the vehicle, so they can look it up. I gave them the full model details and year, still they fought back. Then Ford tell me there is no service costs. It's all inclusive. You still pay for it in the package, and I might want a used vehicle, so I need the service costs.

After fighting with 3 different branches. Finally they gave the estimates to me. It's as if Ford try everything to not reveal the costs before you buy.

I will definitely not be buying a Ford after the service I received (Before even making a sale). Shocking. I will tell everyone to avoid Ford at all costs.
