Ford warranty it’s a ****.

I’m driving a Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost 2018 model, I’ve never skipped a service and recently With 87 000 km’s, my engine light has turned on and I took it for diagnostic of which in turn they told me that it’s a catalytic converter problem , what makes the matter worse is that my car is under 120 000 km’s but it has more than 4 years , apparently it has expired last year November which leaves me with a quote of R40 000. I’m really not impressed at all for a person who has never skipped a service and my car is still at 87 000 Km.
