Ford wants me to help them, by helping me as the customer?????

I am actually writing on Hellopeter because I need help. I have no idea how to get through to Ford. After months of highlighting a problem that I believe was caused by Ford. Finally, I am told today that the problem I am having on my car is a serious problem that can actually endanger the lives of your family so you cannot drive the car. However, we know it is a serious problem and we might need your car for a week or so while we investigate and try to get the problem resolved...but we have no car for you. So basically, I need to figure out how I will drop my son at work, my wife, get to work and do our usual family routine things without the car. Ford needs my car to fix it, but they cannot help me, get it fixed.....or they can but only over a month away....but at the same time they tell me its my choice to endanger my family. I have told them that it is not a fair response, Ford is not giving me the means to get this done. I need a car and I need this problem resolved that they didn't help me with for months....now it's my problem? I just need someone from Ford to actually care and help their customers...because I need to think of a million options to help Ford, help me.....that's the Ford way?????
