Ford The Glen - Worst service ever! My Time & Money wasted!!!!
I bought a Ford Fiesta Eco-boost 1.0 MANUAL (2016) on (24th April 2017) financed through Wesbank. Beginning of May 2018(Soon as I noticed) I went to the local Post Office to renew my license disk which had expired in January 2017. eNatis couldn't assist me after discovering that the personal details appearing against the car were not mine (id, name, address), vehicle details appeared to be of the car I bought besides that it was an AUTOMATIC. I then sent an email to Ford on (3rd May) with the contract agreement, the eNatis copy of the vehicle details and the Wesbank settlement letter (with details they had), then had to make a phone call to get them to look at the matter as it was urgent. I received a correspondence on the ****h May) saying they have requested the documents to be rectified. (14th May) I received an email from the manager saying everything was sorted out I can now go get the license disk. Month end of May I go back to the Post Office and I'm told the vehicle has not gone through Roadworthy check. I immediately contacted Ford again and told them I’m bring the car back to them and made arrangements for a courtesy car. They said they can’t arrange that because roadworthy doesn’t take that much time so they will drop me off at work, do roadworthy then deliver the car to my workplace. (28th May) When I arrived at Ford all their drivers were not there including the guy I had made the arrangement with. Another manager from there advised that I can only be accompanied by one of their employees to the Roadworthy station to do it myself and then I’d have to drop the employee back at their dealership, mind you I have to be at work. Roadworthy didn’t pass because of the front tires. (29th May), I go there again, wait for the sales guy I was assisted by initially. He said there’s nothing they can do because I have been driving the car. I refused to take the car with, arranged my own transport to take me to work. Afternoon the guy delivers the car and said they did roadworthy and things should be fine now. (30th May) I went to the post office again, I was advised that the car needs licensing. Licensing was included in the initial contract, and now I need to go to the traffic department and get licensing for the car? At this point I am gatvol because the dealership doesn’t seem to be well informed about the processes to be followed, no one wants to take ownership of the matter, and I’ve wasted time and money trying to get this mistake rectified without compensation.
