Ford service at its worst

I bought a Mazda 3 from a Ford Dealership in Worcester in November 2017. The Mazda was said to be loaded with an additional year of Warranty and service plan. Due to the 2nd hand nature of the car, there would still remain a service plan and warranty up until the end of March 2018. I asked the sales lady, (Michelle Badenhorst) to give me something on paper regarding the warranty and service plan. My plan was to buy a new service plan and warranty at the end of the existing one. Seeking to service my car this week just before the plan expires, I was told by Mazda that my plan expired yesterday, 19/03/2018 and not as I was informed, at the end of the month. Mazda, Somerset West told me they could not help, as I did not buy the car from them. The Ford dealership blames me for not having all the facts, but how can I have them if I had a sales person that didn't even answer her phone or respond to emails when requested to. Due to her negligence, I never received something in writing about the warranty and service plan. I drove from Cape Town to Worcester to test drive the car, only to get there and realise that no one even knew, I was coming and she wasn't there. I gave her my proper address and she still manages to register the car on a previous fica address without consulting me. And for all this, the only response I get from her is that she believes, she has done all she can and it was my responsibility as the client to ensure that I have the right details and information. On the day of delivering the car, she arranges to meet with me in Somerset West and take me to Worcester to pick up the car. We arranged a time and to cause more frustration, she doesn't let me know that she has arrived at our meet and greet check-in point. Instead, she sits in her car for over an hour almost 2 and if I didn't call her to ask if she arrived at our meeting point, she would not have called me. Now she had to drive like a lunatic to get to Worcester before their branch closes down. As we arrive at the Ford dealership, everyone has left to go home, the car is parked outside with no trimmings. It felt like a simple car handover. Oh my word, this was and is horrible service. I never received any call from them or email thanking me for their business and I never received a call to rate their service. Really?????? A Ford dealership in the 21st Century????? Jaffes Ford, you give the brand a bad name. To top it off, it was clear... You are not buying a Ford from us, but a Mazda, so excellent service was not a priority needed. Horrible Service. I now have to create room and space in my budget to pay for a service I didn't plan for, all because a salesperson didn't do her due diligence.
