Ford SA shocking service
To Whom it may concern.
I have a big Problem that I hope you can help me with. It involves Ford South Africa. We bought a brand new Ford Kuga 2 years ago From Consolidated Auto in Boksburg. It had a couple of minor issues from the start that I pounted out and nothing was done, but nothing major. The vehicle now has 40000km on the clock and is currently at Imperial Ford Kempton Park.
The BIG Problem comes in recently. 15 weeks ago the vehicle started misleiding and I took it to my nearest ford service centre wich is Imperial Ford Kempton Park Wince it is under warranty and We have a service plan in place. After taking it in and the Diagnostic report came, I was told that there was a faulty spark Plug that needs replacing. A couple days later I received a Call from the dealership saying that they needs to order a coil pack that is the actual Problem. A week later they said that it was not the Problem and a compression test pointed to no compression on cylinder number 2 and they need to strip the engine to determine the Problem. A week later I got a Call saying that the technician want for training and will not be working on our vehicle that week. Another week want by and I received a Call saying that the engine block Sub assembly needs to be replaced and they need to order the parts. Two weeks later they said that the engine gas been assembled, but now there is low compression on cylinder number 2 and 3 and they need to strip it again. 2 weeks later they confirmed that the cylinder head also needed to be replaced and the part will be ordered. Another two weeks went by and they called and said that now the car's compression is fine bit it struggle to start and they are looking for the problem. Another 2 weeks later they said that they need to change the ECU computer. It was changed and the vehicle still has the same problem. A week later they said that they need to change the exhaust system and two days after that they said that the injectors needs to be replaced. Now after 14 weeks I am told that they do not know what to do or where to look for the problem anymore.
On week 9 I contacted Ford South Africa and explained my dilemma to them. They promised to get everything sorted out and will keep me updated. They phoned me every other day to give me updates to what the dealership is doing. The representative from Ford is Mr. Steven Mathole and my case number is ********** 57. I expressed my dissapointment to Ford South Africa an requested that the car must be either replaced or that they need to refund me in full, to with he declined and said they reserve the right to fix the car and I need to be patent. I think 14 weeks are more than patient enough!!! Now I need to take action and contact Carte Blanche, Consumer Protection, Ombudsman and all other necessary Social media platforms. I Have lost all faith and trust in the Ford Kuga and do not want it back anymore as I would not trust it as my wife and child drives it every day. I am completely discussed with the service I received From Ford South Africa and I will never buy a Ford again!!!
Please help me as a matter of urgency!
Regards,
Hennie Roets Director Venom Performance and Diagnostics ********** 534
