Ford SA refusing to pay for service.

I am a first time Ford owner. I called a dealership close to me to book a vehicle for service. It was for a 60000km service. When I bought the car I was told that there is still one last service on the car which was for 60000km. This morning took my car to the dealership for the 60000km service and I get told that Ford SA will not pay for the service as the mileage on the vehicle is already 60001km. I find this really ridiculous as I was not notified when I made the service booking to make sure that I bring it exactly at 60000km. I am really unhappy about this and I am contemplating of selling the car and never to buy a Ford ever again in my life as well as to tell my family and friends not to buy ford cars.
