FORD SA - ECOSPORT - Petrol
Good day, I have also now been informed that my FORD ECOSPORT 2019 engine which is R161 000.00 to repair was damage due to PETROL being dirty. That makes no sense as all the vehicles in SA fill with Petrol. Specifically in my case I am with Discovery Insure and use only Shell and BP due to the point system. This makes me really angry. My vehicle has approximately 56000km on the clock. My warranty was till end July 2024. Happened 12 August 2024. No assistance from Ford at all. Just said no we cannot help and it is due to PETROL and even if it was under warranty they would have declined it. Surely this is not acceptable. Is there anyone else with this issue? This is something that need to be taken further as there is no way this is the case. I am taking the matter to the ombudsman and will advise the outcome. But the more people involved the better our case will be.
