Ford Ranger Next gen XL 2023 malfunction

3 stars because I love the brand.I purchased 2023 Next Gen XL last year.The car is great but I kept getting an alert on app "POWERTRAIN/DRIVETRAIN_MAL****ION.I eventually took it in and they were not able to help clear the error from the Ford Pass app.The screen then also started to display options I did not have with XL version.The screen would also zoom in and touch sensitivity would also be offline for a good 5 to 10mins.The fuel gauge counted down from 229km down to 0km and I was on empty according to the display and the Ford pass app.The option we were given at the dealership was to wait for another software update that is to be rolled out.The Ford pass app will also display I am at least 25km away from my actual location.How safe is this?Most of these cars are computer based,so if my software is malfunctioning,how safe am I to be driving on any road?
